I was consistent this week on Cayuga, but it just wasn’t enough for the top 35 cut. I finished 38th, which is valuable points, and I’m always thankful for Patti being able to travel with me. Now time to head back to the St. Lawrence for a few days to catch some smallies!

I brought 16 pounds to the scales today which was good enough for 39th place. As always, these guys caught them good. I need a little better day tomorrow to get into the top 35!

I did manage to catch a few nice smallmouth on the St. Lawrence but coupled with 4 little ones doesn’t do much. Today was day 1 of practice on Cayuga. Time to turn things around! #teamoutdoors ... See MoreSee Less

Feeling that tap never gets old. Probably the most important part of any flipping set up is the hook you choose to use. Personally, I like a straight shank hook. I think it gives me the best hook up ratio. It’s easy to rig, and the bait stays very straight. The hook I have recently started using is an Owner … Read More...
